Thanks Jeff! :-) In addition to surgery, it was a total
lifestyle change - which I willingly did. I am following
through on all the things I have to do, and I would do the surgery
again in a HEARTBEAT. Best thing I ever did for myself, and there
are so many things I can do now that I couldn't before. Life is good.
No....... life is GREAT!!!!! :-)

I'm heading to Australia in August to see my friend Maureen, a bunch
of you met her at Trickfest 2 --- also will be seeing Juli, who attended

I bought "Rockford" and think it's CT's best work since '97. In all
honesty I hated it the first time through but now I play it all day
every day and love it. My favorite albums usually go this way.

I'm still in Seattle and do go see CT whenever they and I are in the

Hey Charli,

I had to google-map Darrington just to see where the hell it is. That's
kind of out there isn't it? My guess is it might be a good venue
because there'll be about 8 people and some cows to vie for the front
row.

I'll let you know if I'm going. Does CT let people video tape their
shows?

Check out some of my rock videos at http://www.wardspring.com/video.php

Namely the Mike McCready with Left Hand Smoke and the other one of my
favorite new band: Sunday Night Blackout.

The Darrington classic rock fest thing is huge. It's like Washington
Woodstock :-) A couple friends went last year; it rained the whole
weekend and the campground flooded. Good times. They're going to
Sturgis this year - I think I'll skip the potential mud and just stay
home :-)

Oddly enough I was searching online for something CT through Google a
couple of days ago and came across a summary of this thread, and I saw
what looked like a "Who's Who" of AMCT folks from the late 90's/early
2000's! I must confess I unsubscribed from AMCT about 3-4 years ago as
all there seemed to be was troll activity, but it was cool to see so
many familiar names/friends listed recently! So I just went onto AOL to
get back into AMCT... and you can't get into Usenet via AOL anymore. So
I'm here through Google, and will have to work out how to post without
only using the "reply" button!

I can't promise to post much, as I'm often too tired most nights to
spend much time online, hence my speed of replying to e-mail is MUCH
worse than it used to be. But I wanted to come back in and say a big
"HELLO" to so many old friends! I do hope to see most of you again
soon!

Oh... Dick just asked for a sign-in, not a novel. Sorry! OK, I'm

Jeff Gordon, Ingrid Vandebosch to Wed

SONOMA, Calif. (AP) -- Jeff Gordon is ready to get married again.

The four-time NASCAR champion plans to marry Belgian model and actress Ingrid Vandebosch. The two started dating in 2004 and appeared together in the movie "Taxi," in which Vandebosch played a bank robber and Gordon made an uncredited cameo appearance at her invitation.

They began dating about a year after Gordon's much-publicized and expensive divorce from Brooke, his wife of seven years.

Gordon said the couple had been engaged about a month, but did not officially announce it until Saturday. Then he won Sunday's Dodge/Save Mart 350 Nextel Cup race at Infineon Raceway.

"It's just been a special week all the way around," he said.

Vandebosch, who began her modeling career at the age of 12, according to an online biography, has also dated actor Bruce Willis and former Baltimore Oriole Brady Anderson. Gordon will be 35 in August.

No date has been set for the wedding.

I really have nothing positive or productive to add (never did before
so why start now), except that I really fuckin' hate NASCAR.

I just wanted to say hi to everybody here.

I have posted on the official boards a few times, but this is my first
time here. Not as much activity, but I have a myspace account and have
tried to contact a few cheap trick fans to add to my friends list.
Hopefully the list will grow.

Oh I think Rockford is a really fun cd and like it a lot.

IMHO, "Rockford" is one of the best CT albums ever. Not quite as good as
CT77 and CT97, but right up there with Heaven Tonight and Dream Police.
Definitely a big step up from Special One.

Jer from Michigan.

I still check in once in a while, mostly as a lurker. Haven't seen the
band since the Hard Rock grand opening in Detroit and the opening for
GBV show...but hoping to catch them in Toledo on friday.

I Like Rockford but it hasn't stayed in heavy rotation. Haven't shelved
it either...
