I did search...tell me if I'm seeing this right. Check out this link.

A posting in there lists the Billboard 200 and shows Cheap Trick's Rockford
at #101 for the list to be dated 6/24/06. Correct me if I'm wrong, but
given the recent history, this is incredible news!

TWRank = This Week's Rank
TWSales = This Week's Sales
%CHG = percentage up or down since last week (999? Does this mean it's the
first week the release has charted?)
LWSales = Last Week Sales
RTD = Release-to-date

TWRank--Artist--Title--TWSales--%CHG--LWSales--RTDSales
101 CHEAP TRICK ROCKFORD 10,501 999 41 10,542

I like that "ten thousand" looking number there, that's gotta look real
pretty to the band!

Especially after only selling 41 copies its' first week out ;)

YEAH!

Not quite as good as that Huey Lewis in the next higher slot. I think
Brian W.C. bought
50 copies of that one, skewing the sales figures a little.

Heh! Yeah, there are some real groaners on that list. The Pussycat Dolls?
WTF?

It's interesting to note that stuff in the top 50 is selling around 20,000
copies. At this rate, Cheap Trick could have themselves a bona-fide hit,
which would be way cool for them!

Looks like the last one to go gold (if you're talking 'by the calendar
release dates') was the Greatest Hits package that came out in 1998 (which
actually went on to platinum status)

Last true studio release to go gold was "One on One"

Just did another search on that same site. Looks like sales dipped to 5,236
this past putting them at #191. Ouch! I figured they'd go up...not down!
Well, at least we know the album rocks.

Isn't it a shame that some no-talent "artist" like Mariah Carey or Ashlee
Simpson can sell millions of records, but the truly good music of CT lags at
about 5 or 10 thousand.
