I heard "Give it Away" this afternoon on WXRT. They must have been doing
a "no U2 for 15 minutes" thing.

While in NW IN, I immediately hit XRT for old times sake. They were
finishing up a Doors song, went into Zep "Black Dog", and then "Perfect
Stranger". Now I'm not complaining, but when I last lived in the area
(early '90s) XRT was full of the Pixies, Cure, Posies, Smiths, Clash, Elvis
Costello...hell, Johnny Clegg and Savuka, fer chrissakes. When did they go
classic rock?

About a year or two ago, they started that. Apparently there was a big
shortage of places to hear Steve Miller stuff around here.

"Perfect Stranger" was on The Bone Yard on XM Radio today. You know, just
in case you were wondering...

And "C'mon C'mon" was also on the Bone Yard today as well. Just keeping the

Isn't the Boneyard an 80's station?

Isn't the Boneyard an 80's station?

@@ hard rock/metal. anything from about the 70's (zep, sabbath, aero,
'dc) to current (buckcherry, godsmack, korn, etc) but yeah, a lot of it
is from the 80's.

there is also a decades channel for strictly 80's music unto itself-
anything that would've been on mainstream radio (pop, rock, new wave,
etc).
