Hi all,

I was today looking over my varied collection of guitar magazines with rick
neilsen - yes i'm a guitarist - and over the years rick's has answered some
great questions. but was wondering, if you were given a chance to interview
rick or if you asked what is one guitar question you'd like to ask rick,
what would it? it doesn't necessarily have to relate to his guitar
collection or actual guitars but more so to his guitar playing over the
years with the band and on record.

one question i would ask would be what did he think of steve lukather
playing guitar on dream police and the original version of i want you to
want me? how did it affect his mind set, in regards to his approach to
putting down HIS guitar parts on record knowing a guitar player the caliber
of lukather was in the studio with him?

I would like to know how he got that multi neck guitar built. In my eyes
that's one awesome instrument....JOHN

I would ask him about his meeting with John Lennon in 1980 on the Double
Fantasy session and if John was rude to him.
According to the book "The Last Days of John Lennon" by Frederic Seaman,
Lennon was kind of frosty to Rick during thir meeting and Yoko didn't like
them either. It said Rick's feelings were hurt when this man whom he so much
looked up to was not especially friendly. Poor Rick, is all I could think.
Now granted, it is possible that Seaman's book is just more bullshit. I just
wonder what Rick's take on it is.
