Very good performance - they looked confident and a little cocky. I liked
it. I wish they would have done "This Time You Got It", but I knew they
wouldn't. Nice gift for Conan...that reworked framed album cover pic with
Conan added. I want one!

### probably because perfect stranger seems to be the lead single off
this new one (and co-written by hitmaker linda perry).

I liked it. A solid performance - but, I didn't like that hat Robin was
wearing... I'm not big on hats...

### i don't have a problem with hats- robin's usually a sharp dresser
and sometimes wears a nice lid to comliment his outfit but i didn't like
the hat he wore on conan, either- too "fallout boy" =3D)

Maybe I am the only one but I was a little disappointed. I guess I
judge all their Conan appearances with the one where they played "Hot
Love". That is my all-time favorite TV performance. The song sounded
good but I also wish they chose something else from the new album,
like If It Takes a Lifetime or maybe Every Night and Every Day. I
DL'd it from the net so will watch it a few more times at least.

### nah, i agree- it was just alright. it's nice to see them on a show
like late night but i wouldn't have minded a different song, either.
seemed like they were going thru the motions a little bit.

I think the song sounded better live than on the album - most of their
stuff does - but I didn't think Robin really seemed "into it". It was
an okay performance.

On the contrary, I thought Robin was *very* into it...hand gestures,
etc...hard to tell thru hat and shades...I hate them personally.

Still...I just got back from a one week road trip of 1200+ miles...I've
listened to Rockford maybe 20x. Perfect Stranger is not my first choice for
a single, I actually have that in the bottom 25% of the songs on the disc
with Dream and All Those Years. I still go with Every Day/Every Night or
This Time You Got It as the best shots at singles.

Oh Clair is a killer song, but not Conan-worthy, might have a chance at
crossover radio a la Flame. Me? would love to hear Come On *3 live.

I noticed the *expanded* version of 'Heaven Tonight' has a song called 'Oh
Clair' on it. Same song??? I haven't heard either.

I just finished d/l the segment and I thought Robin was very into
the performance as well. Randy's right - the hand gestures, etc.
made him more animated than usual. Wish he would ditch the hat
and shades tho - damn....
Randy, we disagree on O Claire, but I definitely would love to hear
Come On live as well - I think it would be a great highlight of
their live show. :-)

Robin was flashing gang signs or flipping the bird to the old-school
AMCTer who used to get flipped off by Rick?

(I forget the name of said person, so forgive me. I'm old and tired.)
