Cheap Trick is still my favorite band. I just bought the CINDERELLA live
in concert CD. I recall the bands of the 80s seems like back then they
can play a lot better then bands now. You rarely hear solos from the new
bands. Plus lead singers now don't have good vocal range. Robin Zander
has better vocal range then 99% of the bands today. The lead singer from
steelheart had a 7 octave vocal range. There is no one recently that has
a vocal range like that...........JOHN

### i agree about most bands of today not being able to play very well
and not knowing what the hell a guitar solo is.
i also agree that pound for pound, zander is *still* the best rock
singer out there, which is amazing since he's in his early 50's. most
rock singers' vocals are trashed by his age.
